What is LearnNigerian?

LearnNigerian is an online language school dedicated to teaching Nigerian indigenous languages — Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Edo/Bini, and Pidgin English. Our mission is to preserve culture and strengthen communication through accessible, interactive, and culturally rooted lessons.

Courses & Curriculum

Which languages do you teach?

We currently offer courses in Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Edo/Bini, and Pidgin English. With cultural workshops that highlight proverbs, folktales, etiquette, and music.

What levels are available?

Each language is offered at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.

You’ll start with everyday communication, then progress to grammar, storytelling, and professional use.

Do you offer group or private classes?

Yes, we offer three flexible formats:

• Private (1-on-1) for personalized attention

• Small group (4–6 learners) for interactive learning

• Private group for families, friends, or cultural clubs

How long does each course last?

Our standard courses run for 4 weeks (1–2 classes per week).

We also offer intensive short courses and ongoing monthly subscriptions for continued learning.

Classes & Learning Experience

How are classes delivered?

All classes are held online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. You’ll receive links and materials once you register.

What do I need to join a class?

You only need:

• A laptop, tablet, or smartphone

• Internet connection

• A quiet space and your enthusiasm to learn!

Are the lessons recorded?

Yes. With your permission, class recordings can be shared privately for review (especially helpful for beginners or children).

Do you give certificates?

Yes! After completing a course, you’ll receive a LearnNigerian Certificate of Completion recognizing your language level and participation.

Pricing & Payment

How can I pay?

You can pay securely via Paystack, Flutterwave, or direct bank transfer.

We also accept mobile money and international payments (USD, GBP, EUR).

Are there discounts?

Yes! We offer referral bonuses and loyalty discounts for returning learners.

Teachers & Support

Who are your teachers?

Our teachers are native speakers with strong educational backgrounds and experience teaching their languages online.

They are trained in modern teaching methods and cultural storytelling. Making classes lively and authentic.

Can I request a specific teacher?

Yes! When available, you can request a preferred teacher after your first lesson
